Curriculum

Our teachers implement The Creative Curriculum for Preschool for their instruction.

The Creative Curriculum for Preschool is a research-based form of instruction approved by the U.S. Department of Education.  This curriculum is based upon five (5) guiding principles proven for early learning success. These building blocks are important for our youngest learners.

These are the principles:

Positive interactions and relationships with adults provide a critical foundation for successful learning.

Social/emotional competence is a significant factor in school success.

Constructive, purposeful play supports essential learning.

The physical environment affects the type and quality of learning interactions.

Teacher–family partnerships promote development and learning.

This Early childhood program uses project-based investigations where children learn to apply skills in four (4) areas of their development. It fosters social/emotional, physical, cognitive, and language.   It focuses on the whole child.
